Xbox gamers have been asking for a way to get Teredo IP addresses for years now. Microsoft finally released a way to do just that in the latest update to the Xbox One. The new feature, called “Teredo Tunneling Protocol (TTP),” is available on Xbox One and Windows 10 devices. It allows gamers to connect with other players online using Teredo IP addresses. “TTP provides an easy way for Xbox Live members in the same region to connect with each other securely over an IPv6 network,” said Microsoft’s Albert Penello in a blog post. “This means you can play games with your friends even if they’re on a different network.” To use TTP, first make sure your Xbox One is updated to the latest software version and then open the Settings app. Under Network & Internet, select Advanced Networking and then click Teredo Tunneling Protocol (TTP). You’ll need to enter your Teredo server address and port number. You can also enable IPv6 networking if you want to use TTP without connecting through an ISP or VPN service. ..
