Netflix is a popular streaming service that offers a wide variety of TV shows and movies. However, some Xbox users have discovered that they can use Netflix without subscribing to Xbox Live. This is possible because Netflix uses a different streaming protocol than Xbox Live. Xbox Live is the online service that allows gamers to play games with friends and join in on multiplayer competitions. However, many people use Netflix without subscribing to Xbox Live because it does not require an active subscription. Instead, Netflix uses a different streaming protocol called “Netflix Over the Top” or “NOOBS” for short. NOOBS is an app that you can download from the Microsoft Store on your Xbox One console. Once you have downloaded NOOBS, you can use Netflix without subscribing to Xbox Live. This means that you can watch all of your favorite Netflix shows and movies without having to connect to the internet or sign in to your Microsoft account every time you want to watch something. This workaround may not be available forever though. Microsoft has announced plans to bring its own streaming service called “Project xCloud” to the Xbox One console in 2019. Project xCloud will allow gamers to stream games and other content directly from their consoles without using any third-party services like Netflix or Hulu. If Project xCloud becomes available on your console, then this workaround may no longer be possible. ..
