If you’re like most people, you probably use a variety of fonts in your work and personal life. But if you’re using the free and open source graphics editor GIMP, you may not have access to some of the more popular fonts. In this article, we’ll show you how to add fonts to GIMP. First, open up GIMP and click on the “File” menu item. From here, select “Open…” and browse to where you want to save your new font file. We recommend saving it in your user folder (usually C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\GIMP). Once you’ve saved your font file, open it up in GIMP and click on the “Fonts” tab. Here, you’ll see a list of all the fonts that are currently installed on your computer. If you want to add a new font, simply click on the “+” button next to the font name and select the font file that you saved earlier. Once you’ve added a new font, be sure to test it out by clicking on the “Preview” button next to it and viewing how it looks in your document. If everything looks good, then hit OK and your new font will be added to GIMP! ..
