Xbox 360 gamers have always been able to add memory to their machines by using the console’s built-in memory. However, this process can be a little bit tricky, so here are some tips on how to do it.
- Start by opening the Xbox 360’s system tray and looking for the Memory stick icon. This will tell you how many gigs of memory are available on your machine. If you don’t see the Memory stick icon, then your Xbox 360 has no internal memory and must be connected to a computer in order to use it.
- To add memory to your Xbox 360, first locate the Memory stick in its correct location on your machine. Once you’ve located it, insert it into the Xbox 360 and press the power button to turn it on. Once it’s turned on, look for the “Memory” tab in the system tray and click on it.
- Now click on “Add Memory” and enter a value into the “Description” field. You can either type in a number or use an existing number that you know is valid for your Xbox 360 model (e.g., 8GB). The “Location” field should now be set to where you inserted your Memory stick when it was first installed onto your machine (usually under “Computer”). Click on “Add.”
- Now wait until your Xbox 360 has finished loading its new memory and has displayed its message about adding memory (usually around 10 minutes). After that, you’ll see an empty space in your game library where your new memory should have gone (if everything went according to plan). If not, please check back later as we may have had some issues with addingmemory onto our machines recently!
