Battlefield 2042 is a first-person shooter video game developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released on October 27, 2014 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Battlefield 2042 is the sequel to the 2010 video game Battlefield 3 and the sixth installment in the Battlefield series. The game’s singleplayer campaign follows Russian soldier Nikolai Belinski as he fights his way through an alternate history Cold War Europe, while its multiplayer mode features up to 64 players in a variety of maps and modes.
