In Illustrator, you can change the default color of a layer by selecting it and pressing the Edit button. This button allows you to change the color of all layers in a document. To change the default color of a layer, select it and press the Edit button. Then, use one of the following methods to choose a new color:
- Choose a new color from the Colors palette.
- Choose a new color from your RGB palette.
