In Illustrator, you can change the ruler scale. This is a way to change how the objects in your drawing look. The ruler scale is used to make the objects in your drawing look smaller or larger. To change the ruler scale, open Illustrator and click on the Options button. Then, click on the Ruler Scale tab. The Ruler Scale tab will show you a list of all of the objects in your drawing. There are three types of objects in Illustrator: lines, shapes, and text. Lines are made up of points and they can be moved around using the arrow keys or by dragging them with the mouse. Shapes are made up of lines and they can be edited using the selection tools (the selection bar at the top of the screen). Text is made up of characters and it can be edited using any of the editing tools (including insertion points). The first thing you need to do is decide what type of object you want to use as your ruler. If you want to use a line as your ruler, then select it from the list on the Ruler Scale tab. If you want to use a shape as your ruler, then select it from that list too. Once you have selected an object from among those on the Ruler Scale tab, click on its icon to set its rulerscale value. The value will be shown next to its name in parentheses next to its rulerscale value number (1 for line, 2 for shape, 3 for text). To change that value, just drag it down or up within range until it matches what you want it to do (in this case, make everything smaller). If all goes well and your new rulerscale setting works correctly, then everything should look good when drawn! If not, there’s no need to worry - just go back and try again if something doesn’t work right after changing your rulerscale setting.
