If you’re like most gamers, your PS4 profile picture is probably a screenshot of your favorite game or moment from your favorite game. But what if you want to change it up? Here are five ways to do just that.
- Upload a new photo. If you don’t have any photos saved on your PS4, you can upload a new one using the “Upload Photo” feature in the PlayStation Network (PSN) account management section of the PlayStation 4 system. You can also take a photo with the DualShock 4 controller and use that as your profile picture.
- Change your avatar. The avatar is the image that appears next to your name when you sign in to PSN or when you post messages on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. You can change it by going to “Profile” in the main menu of the PS4 system, selecting “Avatar,” and choosing one of the options available there.
- Change your background image. The background image is an image that appears behind all other images in your profile on PSN and social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. You can change it by going to “Profile” in the main menu of the PS4 system, selecting “Backgrounds,” and choosing one of the options available there.
- Change your header image (the banner at the top of all profiles). You can change it by going to “Profile” in the main menu of the PS4 system, selecting “Header Image,” and choosing one of the options available there (you may need to scroll down).
- Change your theme color scheme (the colors used for various elements on your profile page). To do this, go to “Settings” on PS4 and select “Theme Colors & Backgrounds." From there, select one or more colors for each element ..
