There are a few things you can do to clean a carboy if it’s been used recently.
- Remove all of the liquids and debris from the carboy using a plunger or vacuum cleaner. Be sure to dry everything off before putting it back in.
- Use a hairdryer on high heat to remove any excess water and dirt from the carboy. Be sure not to overheat the carboy, as this could cause it to burst or explode.
- Use a bucket, hose, or stream of water to clean any areas that have been contaminated with oil, gasoline, or other liquids. Be careful not to damage the plastic container in which the carboy is stored.
