Ccell cartridges should be cleaned every 6 months or when the battery is replaced. To clean a Ccell cartridge, remove the battery and unscrew the top of the cartridge. Pour a small amount of water into a bowl and add soap to it. Dip the end of a plunger into the water and suction onto the end of the plunger, then release it and push the plunger up and down on top of each cartridge. The water will start to flow out from under the cartridge and it will eventually be clean.
