Above ground pools can be a great addition to your backyard, but they can also be a hassle to keep clean. If you don’t have a vacuum cleaner, there are several ways to clean an above ground pool without one.
- Use a hose. Fill the pool with water and turn on the hose to full blast. The water will wash away any dirt, leaves, or debris that has accumulated on the surface of the pool.
- Use a broom and bucket. Sweep the surface of the pool clean using a broom and bucket. Be sure to get into all of the nooks and crannies.
- Use a garden hose. If you don’t have access to a hose with enough water pressure, you can use a garden hose to clean the surface of the pool. Just make sure you have plenty of soap handy in case any dirt or debris gets stuck on the nozzle of the hose.
- Use saltwater solution . Add 1 cup of salt per gallon of water in your pool and stir well before using this method to clean it up quickly and easily.. Simply fill a bucket with saltwater solution and pour it over the surface of your pool, scrubbing gently with a brush until everything is gone.. This method is best used if you don’t have access to an electric pump because it requires manual labor.. ..
