When you light an incense burner, the heat from the burning wood will cause a small fire to form in the bottom of the pot. This fire will quickly grow and become very hot, so be careful not to touch it. If you do, you may get burned. To clean an incense burner, first remove any wax or other material that is stuck to the pot or burner. Then use a damp cloth to clean the entire surface of the pot or burner. Finally, dry off the area with a paper towel or air-drying rack.
