1. Open the door to the electrical outlet and remove any obstructions.
  2. Pour a pot of boiling water onto the outlet and wait until it has boiled.
  3. Pour a pot of cold water onto the outlet and wait until it has cooled.
  4. Use a plunger to push out any liquid that is on the electrical outlet and then use a cloth or paper towel to clean it off.
