There are a few things you can do to clean fly lines before they need to be used again.
- Soak the line in a pot of cold water for a few minutes. This will help remove any built-up oil or grease on the line.
- Use a wire brush to clean the inside of the reel housing and other areas that may have been touched by the line.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to suck up any excess water and dirt from around the fly lines.
