  1. Start by taking off any excess hair from around the ears. This will help reduce the amount of dirt and dust that will accumulate on the ears.
  2. Use a mild soap and water to clean the inside of the ears, using circular motions around each ear drum. Be sure to avoid getting any water on the dog’s skin or eyes.
