If you’re a driver who’s ever had to clean up gummed-up fuel lines, you know how important it is to do it quickly and efficiently. Here are some tips on how to clean up gummed-up fuel lines:

  1. Pour a pot of boiling water onto the line and let it cool. Pour the water into a large bowl and add enough soap to cover the line. Use your hands or a plunger to suction onto the line and pull until all of the soap is gone.
  2. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until all of the soap is gone. Be sure not to get any water on the engine or fuel system!
  3. Rinse off the line with cold water and dry off with a paper towel. Make sure not to get any oil on the line or engine!
