If you’re like most people, your oven is probably one of the most-used appliances in your kitchen. And with good reason: ovens are incredibly versatile and can be used to cook everything from pizza to chicken breasts. But one of the drawbacks of ovens is that they can get dirty pretty quickly. Fortunately, cleaning an oven is easy – all you need is some soap and water. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Preheat your oven to its normal cooking temperature.
  2. Wet a cloth or sponge with soap and water and wring it out so that it’s slightly damp but not dripping.
  3. Place the cloth or sponge on the top rack of the oven and turn it on its side so that the steam can clean the walls and top of the oven more easily. Leave the door open a crack so that heat can circulate around the interior of the oven.
  4. Allow the oven to bake for about 20 minutes, or until it reaches its desired temperature. Then remove from heat and allow to cool before cleaning further. ..
