If you’re like most horse owners, you probably clean your saddle pads at least once a week. But how do you go about it? Here are four tips for cleaning saddle pads:
- Use a damp cloth to wipe down the pad.
- If the pad is stained, use a mild soap and water mixture to clean it. Be sure to rinse off the soap completely before using the pad again.
- If the pad is very dirty, use a cleaner designed specifically for saddle pads. Be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully!
- Finally, air-dry the pad if possible before storing it away. ..
