If you’re an avid gamer and own a PlayStation 4 and a Nintendo Switch, you may have noticed that the two consoles don’t always play nice with each other. For example, if you want to play a game on your PS4 using the DualShock 4 controller, you have to connect it to the console via USB cable. But if you want to use your Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers for gaming, they won’t work with your PS4. Fortunately, there is a way to connect your PS4 controller to your Nintendo Switch so that you can use them together seamlessly. Here’s how:
- First, make sure that your PS4 and Nintendo Switch are both turned on and connected to the internet.
- Next, open the Settings menu on your PS4 and select “System Settings.”
- On the System Settings screen, scroll down until you see “Controller Settings” and click on it.
- On the Controller Settings screen, click on “Add New Controller.”
- In the Add New Controller screen, select “PS4 Controller” from the list of devices and click on OK.
- Your PS4 controller will now be added to the list of controllers available for use with your Nintendo Switch.
- Next, open up any game that you want to play using your PS4 controller on your Nintendo Switch system and select it from the game list.
- Once you have selected the game, press down on one of the joy-con buttons (on either side of the controller), then hold down this button while pressing down on one of the other joy-con buttons (on either side of the controller).
