If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to edit photos and create graphics for your website or blog. But did you know that Photoshop is available for free forever? To get started, open Adobe Photoshop CC on your computer. (Adobe Photoshop CS6 and earlier are no longer supported.) If it’s the first time you’re using the program, Adobe will ask if you want to create a new account or sign in with an existing account. (If you already have an Adobe account, just click Sign In.) Once inside Photoshop, click File > New > File… and select “Photoshop Document.” Name the file whatever you want and click Save. (You can also save the file to your desktop.) Now let’s get started! To start using Photoshop, first open the document you just created. You’ll see a few default panels on the left side of the screen. (If it’s your first time opening the document, Adobe will ask if you want to import any images.) Next, let’s add some content to our document. To do this, click on one of the empty areas in the main canvas area and type some text or a graphic. You can also use tools like brushes and filters to create interesting effects. (For more information about these tools, see our guide on how to use Photoshop.) When you’re finished editing your content, save your document by clicking File > Save As… and selecting a filename from the drop-down menu. (You can also save your document as a PDF or JPG file.) ..
