If you’re like most people, you use the pen tool to add text and shapes to your images. But if you’re new to Photoshop, or if you just want to improve your skills, there are a few things you should know about editing the pen tool. In this article, we’ll show you how to edit the pen tool so that it’s easier for you to create great looking text and shapes. First of all, make sure that the pen tool is selected in your toolbar. Next, click on the object that you want to edit with the pen tool. You’ll see a selection box around the object. If you want to edit only part of the object, use the selection box as a guide and click and drag inside it. If you want to edit all of the object’s pixels at once, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) while clicking and dragging. Now let’s look at some of the basic editing options for the pen tool. First, let’s change how thick or thin our lines are going to be. To do this, click on one of the line options in the toolbar: Thin Line (left), Medium Line (middle), or Thick Line (right).
