Android system webview is a feature that allows you to view the web pages of your Android device in a browser. This feature is available on most Android devices. To enable this feature, you must first enable the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and then install the WebView component of the Android SDK. The WebView component can be found in the SDK’s lib directory. To use the Android system webview, you must create a file called “config.xml” and place it in your project’s root directory. The contents of this file should look like this: The first line of the file defines the name and type of the webview instance created by your app when it starts up, while the second line sets up some basic defaults for that webview instance (such as its icon and label). The last two lines define some additional settings for that webview instance, such as whether or not it should backup its state when closed (and whether or not to use an IOS or Android user agent).
