But if you want to keep your membership active and use all the features it offers, here are a few tips. First, make sure you’re using the right account. If you only have one Xbox Live Gold account, use that one for everything. If you have multiple accounts, make sure each one is associated with a different Xbox Live Gold profile. This way, if one account gets hacked or lost, your other accounts will still be usable. Second, keep an eye on your usage stats. You can see how much time you’ve spent playing games online, watching TV shows and movies or using the multiplayer features of Xbox Live Gold. If you’re not using all of your allotted time each month, consider cancelling some of your subscriptions or switching to a shorter term plan. Finally, don’t forget to renew your subscription every few months.
