In Illustrator, you can use the Background property to fill in the background of your illustrations. This property can be used to create a simple or complex background for your illustrations. To start, you’ll need to create a new layer in your Illustrator document and name it “Background.” Next, select the Background layer and click on the ellipsis button (the three lines in the top-left corner of your screen). This will open up a dialog box that will allow you to choose one of several backgrounds that are available to you. The first option is a basic white background. You can choose this background by clicking on the blue checkbox next to it and then clicking on OK. The Background layer will now be filled with white pixels. If you want your illustration to have a more complex background, then you’ll need to select another Background layer and then use the Properties panel to set some properties. For example, you might want to set the opacity of the Background layer so that it’s low so that it doesn’t obscure your other layers. You can also set some other properties such as color or brightness if you want your illustration to stand out more from its surroundings. Once you’ve chosen a suitable background for your illustration, click on OK and then save your document as an image file using any of the usual file formats (such as JPEG or PNG).
