If you own a PlayStation 4, then you’re likely familiar with the system’s built-in security features. One of these features is the PS4’s serial number. This number is unique to each console and can be found on the system’s main screen. To find your PS4’s serial number, follow these steps:

  1. Open the PlayStation 4 system’s main screen and locate the “System Settings” icon. This icon will look like a gear wheel in the center of the screen.
  2. In System Settings, click on “Serial Number.” The Serial Number field will now appear in a separate window.
  3. Type in your PS4’s serial number into the Serial Number field and click on “Save.” The system will now reboot and you’ll be able to play your games again!
