If you have a car key that broke in half, the first thing you should do is try to find the original key. If you can’t find it, or if it’s too difficult to do so, then you should go to a nearby store and buy a new key. Once you have the new key, go back to your car and insert the old one into the lock. Make sure that both keys are turned in opposite directions so that they can’t be turned around. Then open your car door and try to start your car.
