If you’re like most people, you probably use your phone to take pictures, send texts, and check email. But what if you want to use your phone to do more? What if you want to use it to access the internet or play games? You need a SIM card. A SIM card is a small chip that helps your phone connect to the internet and other wireless networks. You can buy a SIM card from your carrier or from some stores that sell mobile phones. To format a SIM card for Android:
- Open the Settings app on your phone. If you don’t have it already, open the Apps menu and tap Settings.
- Tap Wireless & Networks.
- Tap Mobile Networks. 4) Tap Add Network. 5) Enter the network’s name (for example, “T-Mobile”). 6) Tap OK. 7) If prompted, enter your password (for example, “password”). 8) Tap Next. 9) Enter your mobile number (for example, “123456789”). 10) Tap Next again. 11) Enter your PIN (if prompted). 12) If prompted, agree to the terms of service (for example, by tapping Agree). 13) Tap Finish setup. 14) Your new network should now be listed in Wireless & Networks under Mobile Networks. 15 ) To use this network with your Android device: 1 ) Open the Settings app on your phone and tap Wireless & Networks . 2 ) Under Mobile Networks , tap the name of the network you just added . 3 ) Under Access Point Names , tap Use this APN . 4 ) Enter http://mmscricket as the URL . 5 ) Enter cricket as the MMSC address . 6 ) Enable MMS : If it’s not already enabled , turn on MMS by tapping MMSC and then turning on MMS . 7 ) Send an MMS message : To send an MMS message ..
