When you’re working with Illustrator, it can be hard to find free memory. But there are ways to free up memory, and they can help you work more efficiently.

  1. Use the “New Window” command to create a new window and name it “Work Area.” This will make it easier to see what’s in your work area, and you won’t have to worry about accidentally deleting or moving things around.
  2. Use the “Select All” command to select all of the objects in your work area. Then use the “Copy” command to copy all of the objects into the new window.
  3. Use the “Paste” command to paste all of the copied objects into your work area. You’ll need to be careful not to overwrite any of your original files!
