There’s no need to be embarrassed about checking in in the NHL. In fact, it’s a key part of the game. And with NHL 20, there are new ways to do it that make it even more important. Here are five tips:

  1. Use the “Check In” button on your Xbox One controller to open up a menu that will let you check in from anywhere in the game. This is especially helpful if you’re playing online or have a friends list enabled.
  2. When you’re ready to check in, press “X” on your controller to open up an overlay that will show all of your players and teams at once. This is especially helpful if you’re trying to keep track of who’s playing where and when they’ll be available forcheck-ins.
  3. If you’re having trouble finding someone to check in with, try using the “Player Search” function on your Xbox One controller or use the search bar at the bottom of every screen in NHL 20. This will help you find players quickly and easily.
