When you’re starting out in Illustrator, it’s a good idea to learn how to import swatches into the program. This will help you create more accurate illustrations, and it’ll also make it easier to find the right colors for your projects. To import a swatch into Illustrator, open the File menu and select “Import.” In the “Import Type” field, select “Swatch.” In the “File Name” field, enter the name of the file you want to save your Swatch into. In the “Description” field, enter a brief description of your Swatch. In the “Size” field, enter a size for your Swatch. In the “Color Space” field, enter one of several color spaces that Illustrator supports. For example, if you want to use Adobe RGB color space in your Swatch, enter “RGB.” If you want to use another color space that Illustrator supports, enter that information in the “Color Space” field and then click on OK.
