If you’re like most people, you probably use a pencil brush to add detail and shading to your drawings and paintings. But if you want to create a pencil brush in Photoshop, it can be a bit of a challenge. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to make a pencil brush in Photoshop using the Pencil tool and some basic techniques. First, let’s start by creating a new document in Photoshop. We’ll use this document to practice making our own pencil brush. To do this, open up the Pencil tool (L) and click on the New button (N). This will open up the New Pencil Brush dialog box (see below). In this dialog box, we first need to specify the size of our brush. We can do this by entering in a size value in pixels or millimeters. For our example, we’ll enter 100 pixels as our size value. Next, we need to specify what type of brush we want to create. We can choose from three different types of brushes: Hard Round, Soft Round, or Beveled Edge. For our example, we’ll choose the Beveled Edge type of brush. Finally, we need to specify what kind of edge we want our brush to have. We can choose from three different types of edges: Hard Edge (the default), Soft Edge (where the edge is slightly softer than the rest of the stroke), or Blur Edge (where the edge is blurred). For our example, we’ll choose Blur Edge as our edge type. Now that all of our settings are set up, let’s start painting! To begin painting with our new pencil brush, simply click on your canvas and start drawing with your mouse pointer. You should see your newly created pencilbrush appear onscreen as you draw! ..
