When you take a photo in lightroom, the camera records the image as a digital file. Once you’ve imported the file into your computer, you can start editing it to make it look more like a painting or photograph. One way to make a photo look more matte is to use a matte filter. To apply a matte filter, open the photo editor and select the Matte option from the Filter menu. Then, choose the type of matte you want: hard or soft. If you want your photo to have a harder Matte effect, select Hard Matte from the Filter menu and then click on OK. If you want your photo to have a softer Matte effect, select Soft Matte from the Filter menu and then click on OK.
