If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to edit photos and create graphics. But what if you want to create a preset—a set of pre-made adjustments that you can use over and over again? In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to make a preset in Photoshop. First, open Photoshop and select File > New > Preset. This will open the New Preset dialog box. In the Name field, type “Basic Adjustments.” In the Category field, select “Adjustments.” Click the “Browse” button and select the “Basic Adjustments” folder from your computer’s hard drive. Click OK to close the New Preset dialog box. Now we’ll make our first adjustment. Select the “Blur” tool from the toolbar and click on an area of your photo that you want to blur. (You can also use keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+B.) To make your blur more intense, increase the Amount value in the Blur section of the Basic Adjustments preset’s dialog box. (You can also use keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+U or Cmd+U.) Next, let’s adjust brightness and contrast. To do this, select the “Brightness/Contrast” tool from the toolbar and click on an area of your photo that you want to adjust. (You can also use keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+B or Cmd+B.) In the Brightness/Contrast section of Basic Adjustments’ dialog box, increase or decrease brightness (by clicking on either slider) or contrast (by clicking on either checkbox). You can also change both brightness and contrast at once by clicking on their respective buttons next to each other in this section’s dialog box. ..
