If you’re a Borderlands fan on Xbox One, there’s a good chance that you’ve already modded the game for better graphics and gameplay. But if you’re new to the process, here’s how to do it:
- Start by creating a new folder on your Xbox One hard drive called “mods.” This is where you’ll store all of your mods, as well as any other files that may be needed for the modding process.
- In this new folder, create a new file called “config.xml.” This file will contain information about your game and will allow you to customize many aspects of it. For example, you may want to set up your game so that it starts automatically when you start your Xbox One.
- Next, open up the “mods” folder and locate the “bios” file. This file will contain information about your Xbox One’s hardware and will need to be edited in order for the modding process to work properly.
- Once everything is set up correctly, open up Borderlands 2 and begin editing its files! You’ll need to make sure that all of the necessary variables are set in order for the game to run properly with mods installed; for example, your graphics card’s name and type should be entered into the “graphics” field in config.xml, while your resolution should be entered into the “resolution” field (if different than what is defaults). Be sure not to overwrite any of these files if you want them to remain untouched when finished!
