If you’re like most people, you probably have a few games on your PlayStation 4 that you just can’t seem to get rid of. Whether they’re from your library or from when you bought the console, there’s a good chance that some of them are stored on your PlayStation 4’s internal hard drive. But if you want to move those games to an external hard drive so that you can play them anywhere without having to worry about space or compatibility issues, there are a few things that you need to know. First and foremost, make sure that the external hard drive that you’re going to be using is compatible with PlayStation 4 games. If it isn’t, then your game will not work properly on the system and may even crash. Second, make sure that the game files are in a format that PlayStation 4 can understand. This means either using an ISO file or extracting the files into a format that PlayStation 4 can understand (like PS4 Games ISO). Finally, make sure that your computer is up-to-date with regards to software updates for PlayStation 4 games. If it isn’t, then your game may not work properly on the system and may even crash. Once all of these things have been done, it’s time to start moving the files! First off, create a folder on your external hard drive where you’ll store all of the game files. Then, copy all of the game files into this folder. Next, extract all of the files into this folder (if they were extracted into another location). Finally, restart your computer and try playing one of the games in question!
