If you’re like most people, you probably open Illustrator and start working on one artboard at a time. But if you want to open multiple artboards in Illustrator, there are a few steps you need to take. First, open the File menu and select New File. Then, select Artboard from the resulting list. Next, enter a name for your new artboard and click OK. Now that your new artboard is created, you can start working on its contents. To begin, select the first artboard in your workbook and press Command+A to create a new layer on top of it. Then, use the tools in the layers palette to create some basic shapes and colors. When you’re finished with your first artboard, select it again and press Command+B to copy its contents into another artboard. Then, paste them into an empty panel in your workbook so that they’ll be available when you need them.
