If your car battery is in bad shape, it’s time to get it reconditioned. This will help it hold a charge longer and prevent it from going out.
- Remove the battery cover and unscrew the four screws that hold the battery in place.
- Pry the battery out of its housing and place it on a surface that’s clean and free of dust or debris.
- Place a new battery into its housing and screw it back in place.
- Replace all of the screws that hold the cover on to the battery, making sure they’re tight against the housing.
