There are a few ways to remove assistive touch on Android devices. Here are three methods:
- Remove the battery. This is the most common method, but it can also be done by pressing and holding down the power button for about 10 seconds until the phone goes into standby mode. Then remove the battery and insert it into your device.
- Remove the SIM card and data card. If you have an Android phone that comes with both a SIM card and data card, you can remove them both by going to Settings > About phone > Device information and checking for “SIM Card” or “Data Card.” If there is no “SIM Card” or “Data Card,” then you can’t remove them without help from your device’s manufacturer or someone who has access to your device’s technical specifications.
- Use a computer with a USB port to connect your Android phone to the computer and use one of the following methods: a) Connect your Android phone to the computer using a USB cable and use one of these methods:
- Open Google Play Store on your computer and search for “How to Remove Assistive Touch from Android Devices.” Once found, click on it and follow the instructions onscreen.
- Open Windows’ Control Panel ( Programs & Features ) and type in “Android” in the search bar (or press Alt+F5). Once found, click on it and follow instructions onscreen.
