If you’re using Google Voice on your Android phone, it’s time to remove it. Google Voice is a service that lets you make and receive calls using your voice, and it’s not very good. The first thing you’ll want to do is uninstall Google Voice from your phone. To do this, open the Settings app and select “About Phone.” Under “Build number” (or whatever number you see in the notification area), tap on it and then press “Unlock device.” Once the device has been unlocked, go to the “Applications” folder and locate “Google Voice.” Double-click on it to open up its properties. Now, under “Usage,” you’ll want to set a default call plan for all of your contacts. This will ensure that all of your contacts can easily make or receive calls using their voice without having to worry about trying to find the right settings for each individual contact. Under “Call history,” you’ll want to disable call forwarding so that calls won’t be sent through your Google Voice account when someone else is calling you. Finally, under “Privacy,” you’ll want to set a password for your Google Voice account. This will protect your data from being accessed by anyone who isn’t authorized to have access to it. Once these settings have been made, close Google Voice and enjoy free calls without any of the headaches that come with using it!
