If you’re like most people, you probably have an Xbox One controller that’s been sitting in a drawer for a while. Maybe you’ve never used it again, or maybe you just don’t feel like cleaning it. In any case, it’s time to reset the controller to factory settings. To do this, first open the Xbox One console and sign in with your Microsoft account. Then press the power button to turn on the console. Next, press and hold the left trigger and right trigger buttons together until you hear a beep sound. Then release the buttons and turn off the console. Now take your controller apart by removing the two screws at the back of it. Once it’s apart, place it back together by screwing each screw in from top to bottom (you’ll need to do this in order). Now press and hold both triggers together until you hear a beep sound again. Turn on your Xbox One and try using your controller again!
