When starting out in Illustrator, it’s important to understand the basics. In this article, we’ll take a look at how to scale an image in Illustrator. First, make sure that your image is of the correct size. To do this, open your image in Illustrator and click on the Size button on the toolbar. Then, select a size that you’re comfortable with. Next, we’ll need to create a scaling factor. To do this, click on the Scaling Factor button on the toolbar and enter a value into the text field. For example, if you want your image to be scaled down by 50%, enter 50 into the text field and press OK. Now that our scaling factor has been set, we can start scaling our image! To do this, click on the Scale button on the toolbar and select a size from the list of sizes that you’ve created earlier. Once again, be sure to enter a value into the text field so that your image is scaled correctly. Finally, we need to save our file! To do this, click on File > Save As and name our file “scaled_image”.
