When you’re working with Photoshop on your iPad, it’s important to select multiple layers so that you can work on different parts of a photo at the same time. This is especially helpful if you want to create a composite image, which is a photo that is made up of several individual photos. To select multiple layers in Photoshop for iPad, use the following steps:

  1. Choose File > Open and browse to the file you want to open. For example, if you’re opening a photo from your camera roll, choose Camera > Open Photo.
  2. When the file opens, click on one of the layers in the layer palette and then click on another layer in the layer palette to select all of the layers in that layer’s palette. If there are no layers in the layer palette, Photoshop will create them for you automatically.
  3. To close Photoshop for iPad, press Command-W (or Control-W).
