If you have an Alpine car stereo, setting the time can be a bit of a hassle. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the car stereo and locate the clock. It will likely be on the face of the unit or in a small window near the power button.
  2. Press and hold down the “power” button for about two seconds until you see a blue light come on next to the clock. This indicates that your car stereo is in power-saving mode and will not let you change any settings until you release the power button.
  3. Use your remote control to change the time by pressing one of the buttons on it. Be sure to press each button in turn, starting with “0” (zero) and going up to “9.” When you’re finished, release all of the buttons at once by pressing down on them for about two seconds until you see a green light come on next to them. ..
