If you’re using Android Chrome, there’s a good chance that you’re seeing redirects when you visit websites. This is because Chrome uses the web browser’s “Referrer” field to determine which website you should load first when visiting a website. If the Referrer field is pointing to a website that’s not on your device, Chrome will load that website instead. To stop Chrome from redirecting, you can use one of two methods:

  1. Set a custom referer for your websites. This will tell Chrome which website to load first when visiting a website. You can find this setting in the “Settings” menu of Android Chrome.
  2. Disable Referrer Policy in Android Chrome. This will prevent Google from determining which websites are being redirected and loading them instead of your site. You can find this setting in the “Settings” menu of Android Chrome and select “Advanced”. Under “Referrer Policy”, select “No referrers”.
