Facebook notifications can be a real pain, especially if you’re like me and have multiple devices in your household. But there’s a way to stop Facebook notifications from doubling up on your Android device - and it’s not as hard as you might think. To do this, open the Settings app and scroll down to the bottom of the screen. There, you’ll find a list of options called “Notifications.” Underneath “Notifications,” you’ll find a list of categories called “Apps.” Under “Apps,” you’ll find Facebook. Under “Facebook,” you’ll need to select “Do Not Show Facebook Notifications.” Once this is set up, Facebook notifications will only show on your Android device for specific apps that are registered with Facebook. For example, if you’re using an app like WhatsApp or Instagram, then those notifications will only show when those apps are connected to your phone. If you’re not using any of those apps, then they won’t show at all.
