Redirects are annoying. They happen when you try to go from one website to another, and the first website sends you to a different page altogether. It can be really frustrating, especially if you’re trying to do something important like finish your work or check your email. There are a few things you can do to stop redirects on your Android phone. The first is to use a browser that’s not built into Android. Chrome, Firefox, and Opera are all good choices. These browsers don’t automatically send you to different pages when you click links; they just show the page that’s currently open in the browser window. If using a different browser isn’t an option, then the next step is to change your settings on your Android phone. Go to Settings > Applications > Web & App Browsers and select the browser that you want to use. Make sure “Use default web browser” is unchecked so that every time you open a new page, Android will send you straight there instead of opening up the default browser again. Finally, there are some apps that can help stop redirects too. One app called Redirector Pro lets you add specific URLs as exceptions so that they don’t send you offsite every time you try them out. Another app called No Redirect allows you to block all redirects completely on your phone so that nothing will take you away from what matters most – your work or your email inbox! ..
