If you’re like most people, you probably don’t know how to tell how many GB your PlayStation 4 is without turning it on. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here are a few tips to help you figure out how much storage space your PS4 has:
- Look at the console’s screen and count the number of icons. This will give you a rough estimate of its storage capacity.
- If your PS4 doesn’t have an indicator on its screen, look inside the console’s case to see if there is any information about its storage capacity on either side of a Phillips head screwdriver or in one of the included screws (depending on model). If there isn’t, then your PS4 probably has around 350GB of internal storage space.
- If your PS4 does have an indicator on its screen, look at it to see how much free space is left in its internal storage after you’ve added all of the games and applications that come with PlayStation Plus (or if you’re using an external hard drive). This number should be around 100-300GB depending on your system’s configuration and usage habits.
