In Illustrator CC, you can trace shapes and objects with the arrow keys. To trace a path, hold down the left arrow key and drag the cursor over the shape or object you want to trace. The shape or object will be traced in a straight line. To change the direction of the tracing, hold down the right arrow key and drag the cursor in a different direction.
