If you’re like most people, you probably have a few videos stored on your PlayStation 4. But if you want to move them to a PC or another device, there are a few steps you can take to make the process easier. First, make sure that your PlayStation 4 is connected to the internet and that your computer is up and running. Then, create a new folder on your computer called “videos.” In this folder, create a directory for each video you want to transfer. For example, if you have two videos of the same length, create two directories in this folder: one for “long” videos and one for “short” videos. Next, extract the files from the PlayStation 4’s storage media into your new folders. For example, if you extracted all of the files from an 8GB memory card into a new directory called “ps4,” extract all of the files from an 8GB memory card into another directory called “video.” Now that everything is in its rightful place, it’s time to start transferring the videos! To transfer a video file from PS4 to PC without USB: 1) open PS4’s system menu and select “transfer games and data.” 2) select which game(s) will be transferred and how many times (e.g., 1-5 times). 3) input your desired file name(s) into the Transfer Game Name field and click on Transfer. 4) wait for PS4 to finish transferring all of its data (it may take some time). 5) once it has finished transferring all of its data, open PS4’s system menu again and select “play.” 6) input which game(s) will now be played (e.g., long or short video), set their difficulty level (if any), and click on Play. 7) enjoy your newly transferred video!
