If you want to create a pattern in Photoshop, there are a few things you need to know. First, you’ll need to find the picture that you want to use as your pattern. Once you have the picture, open it in Photoshop and select the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M). Next, draw a rectangle around the part of the picture that you want to use as your pattern. Be sure to make sure that the entire area that you’re selecting is included in your rectangle. Once your rectangle is complete, press Ctrl+D (PC: Command+D) to copy it. Now, go back to your original picture and click on the Paste button (V). This will paste your copied rectangle into the image window. You’ll now need to adjust the size of your rectangle so that it fits perfectly within the bounds of your original picture. To do this, use the handles on either side of your copied rectangle’s border to resize it as needed. Once your rectangle is sized correctly, click on its border once again and select Edit > Fill > Pattern from the menu bar. This will open up Photoshop’s Pattern Editor window. From here, you can choose any color that you want for each pixel in your pattern. To finish off this step, simply click on OK when finished and enjoy your new pattern! ..
